The INKY API beta opens September 16, 2026. Access is by request — there's no automatic enrollment. Once you're approved, API access is enabled for your team and you create and manage your own keys from the INKY console.
Requirements: To use all of the Beta endpoints you’ll need to be on a Kaseya Contract.
Your organization name (as it appears in your INKY console)
Whether you're a direct customer or an MSP/partner managing customer tenants
Where access gets enabled:
Direct customers — we enable API access on your team.
MSPs and partners — we enable it on your top-level organization only, not on your individual customer tenants. Keys you create there reach the customers underneath you, so there's nothing to request per customer.
What happens next:
We review the request and confirm you're eligible for the beta.
If approved, we enable API access and reply to confirm.
An API Keys page appears in your console. A super admin there can create keys, scope them, and revoke them — we never see or hold your key.
You're added to the beta list, so you get direct notice of new endpoints and breaking changes before they ship.
We're keeping the first wave small and onboarding in batches so we can stay hands-on with each participant. If we can't fit you into the initial group, you'll stay on the list and we'll come back to you as access widens.
Questions about scope, endpoints, or whether your use case fits? Send them to the same address — we'd rather answer up front than have you build against the wrong thing.
*Edit: Sorry I said September 15, but it’ll be the 16th after our code release that Tuesday!

Agreed. We definitely need some API access. We have been migrating a large number of clients from Barracuda, and we have no way to automatically migrate over their Black/Whitelists, and doing it manually takes up too many man-hours. Being able to use some APIs to automatically insert this information would be great. Being able to have automation pull information into a ticket from INKY would also be great.

We are creating our own QBR solution since Kaseya’s is well… lacking. API access would allow us to add INKY to our reports! Please roll this out ASAP. I would love to pilot this also. Thanks!

For the API, would also be great to view all configurations, licensed users, what clients are in Inky, so we can pull this data into our data warehouse. API access would be fabulous, being a native integration with Rewst would be amazing.

We are a very small team and automate as much as possible. Not being able to include INKY in some of our automations has been inconvenient to say the least. APIs for Allow/Block lists and for Advanced Block List would be a great start.

Being able to pull reporting information or the Dashboard overview pdf from an API to include in our Monthly report package more easily would be amazing. But other integrations would be welcome to help automate things like Allow lists and block lists.

Hey all! We’re coming along and still targeting September for some initial testing users and then a full beta for all customers. Goal is to have the beta for all teams launched before the end of Q3 and then GA based on usage and feedback before the end of Q4.

Hi Matt,
Great to hear that the External API is progressing!
We’d also love to participate in the initial beta testing group. We’re especially interested in using the API for automation and integration with our existing workflows.
Please sign us up if there’s still room for beta testers. Happy to provide feedback and test real-world use cases.
Thanks!

Export INKY Usage
Would be really handy if we could have an export option (to CSV) of INKY usage from the Partner > Usage page
