Scheduled Signatures and Banners

We need the ability to schedule signatures and banners to activate and deactivate based on specific dates and times.

Use cases:

  • Holiday banners (e.g. display during a holiday break period)

  • Sale/promotion period banners

  • Seasonal email signatures (e.g. "Happy Christmas" or "Happy New Year" that activate and deactivate automatically)

  • Time-sensitive campaigns across the organization

Currently these changes require manual updates, which is error-prone and creates unnecessary work for MSPs managing multiple tenants.

    Merged request

    Scheduled Email Signatures and Banners

I want to be able to schedule email signatures and banners to change automatically based on specific dates and times. For example, I would like to set a "Happy Christmas" or "Happy New Year" signature to activate and deactivate on specific dates without needing to update it manually. This would be very helpful for managing holiday greetings and time-sensitive promotions across the organization.

This is a fairly large barrier to migrating away from other solutions in the market.

This request has been merged into **"Scheduled Signatures and Banners"** (previously "Time based banners") which now covers both scheduled banners and scheduled email signatures. Votes have been transferred.

We recently migrated our clients to INKY from CodeTwo. While the platform has been great overall, we’ve hit a significant operational bottleneck regarding email signature management.

Many of our clients require temporary signature updates, such as holiday closure notices (e.g., Christmas/New Year breaks) or time-sensitive marketing banners. Because INKY currently lacks date-based scheduling for signature layouts and footers, our IT team is forced to manually publish and revert these changes across client tenants.

From an IT and MSP perspective, management platforms should streamline operations rather than force us back into manual workflows. Having to log in to manually toggle updates on specific dates wastes valuable engineering time and creates unnecessary risk for human error (such as leaving expired holiday hours live).

Adding a scheduling feature for signature layouts and banners would drastically reduce our administrative overhead, eliminate manual steps, and make INKY a much stronger contender against dedicated signature tools like CodeTwo.

We’d love to see this feature prioritized on your product roadmap.
